How This Space Was Born

This community started with a simple desire:

Helping our loved ones navigate a storm more mindfully.

The seed was planted while Sarah was attending the Rotary International Peace Convention in Calgary. At the time, escalating tensions and heavy news from Iran were creating an immense sense of hopelessness and collective grief within the Persian Diaspora.

As a trained MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher and Transformational Life Coach, Sarah knew she had to act, starting from family, friends and NZ clients.

What began as virtual meditation sessions for a few people organically grew into a highly engaged sanctuary. Week by week, people across the GTA and beyond gather in our digital space to breathe together, process emotions through guided group mindfulness, and share collective wisdom in our Book Club.

Today, this grassroots initiative has blossomed into a broader movement. Through Nature's Zeal, we are now collaborating with local organizations across Toronto to scale our impact—bringing in-person wellness programs, specialized support groups, and culturally responsive spaces to the wider diaspora.

  • Weekly Inner Peace Circles

    What we do:

Every Saturday/Sunday, we gather in a live, virtual meditative space, away from the outside noise.
Through guided mindfulness practices, we use our collective energy to bring hope and light back into our hearts. We practice together to feel more centered and inspired for a productive week ahead.

  • The Inner Peace Book Club

Born from a collective desire for deeper growth, our Book Club explores literature dedicated to self-awareness and mindful living. We actively read selected titles together (currently The Power of Now), meeting once a month to discuss our understandings, share personal experiences, and anchor the book’s wisdom into our daily lives.

  • Weekly Support Groups

In collaboration with the Faranak Foundation and in partnership with professional therapists, we offer dedicated support circles. These groups provide a professionally facilitated, non-judgmental space to talk. And practice presence through mindfulness to navigate the specific emotional challenges facing the Persian Diaspora.
